Mark your calendars for these exciting summer classes! Check back often for new listings.  Contact Jennifer Youngblood at (210) 464-6298 to sign up today.

June 12, 2010 - Dutch Oven Cooking

Demonstration and interactive lecture on traditional Dutch oven cooking methods.  Participants will have a chance to sample the recipe!  Ages 16 and up.  $10 per person.

June 26, 2010 - Basket Weaving Demonstration

Watch as expert basket weavers turn natural materials into a fun and functional work of art!  Then sign up for the class on July 10 to learn to do-it-yourself!  Demo is free.

July 10, 2010 - Basket Weaving:  Cachepot

Learn to make a charming cachepot in a couple of hours.  The cachepot is meant to hold a potted plant, so it contains a plastic liner that also serves as a guide for shaping the basket itself.  Made of seagrass and bamboo reed, this 5.5x3.5-inch basket is the perfect beginner project.  Materials list provided before the class.  $20 per person.

The Agricultural Heritage Center and Museum has several special events throughout the year.  Our Spring Event highlights life on the trail, with fun programming and a Chuck Wagon Cook-Off drawing visitors from around the state the second Saturday in March.

We also sponsor the Boerne White Socks - a vintage baseball team that competes with other vintage teams around the region.  For more information on these and other programs, click the links below.
